I'm not much of a sports fan, except for the Detroit Red Wings. Even then, I don't follow the hockey season regularly. Instead I love books, movies and listening to music. I am always reading at least one book at any given time, usually science fiction and fantasy, but I also like literary fiction, memoirs, history, etc. I grew up on Star Wars and Marvel comic books, and I still love that stuff. I have broad and eclectic taste in music, but I mainly listen to classic rock, alternative and heavy metal. Some of my favorite performers are Metallica, the White Stripes, the Flaming Lips, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Tom Waits, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. As for movies, I go for everything from the latest super hero blockbuster to art house movies you can only see at the Main Art or the Detroit Film Theater. I am an entertainment junkie who is always open to discovering something new. |
