I could not live without music. I always have a song in my head. I can not stand music that is made to be sold. I avoid the radio because there seems to be a lack of integrity in most current music. It ‘s hardly music at all, but rather a product. Instead, I listen to music that I find visceral. Extraordinary music is not just heard, it is felt. It is done with passion. It can be like listening to the songs of nature. When you’re out camping, a warm breeze causes a stirring. A gently rustling of the leaves of trees. Crickets chirp. The pop and the crack as the roar of the fire slows to a rhythmic lull. It causes the pace of the heart to quicken. A flower blooming, or the rising of the sun. It can be like a summer thunderstorm. The musky smell of the desert. It is so magical when you feel the hot rain between your sighs. It’s as powerful as a wave building with momentum, taking it’s peak and it comes crashing down, hard, feeling the rumbling of earthquakes inside as wave after warm wave comes rolling in again and again. It will make you quiver, leave you breathless and craving more. Sometimes primal and raw and can also be gentle, soothing and comforting like being by a slow moving stream on a quiet day. Like when a quiet fog comes rolling in or a gentle, falling snow. "Moto psycho 23 at the one that starts with a y", if you're a smart girl you will know what to do.
