you realized some time back that happiness can be simple. ambition beyond necessity is for the jerks ( unless your ambition is genuinely to have tons of things, which…idk yay?) and climbing up the ladder leads to a hole in the ground, that’s the same for everyone.
you’d much rather eat something good, smoke something steadily and belly laugh at everything at this point. and you at least mostly CAN, because you’re not naïve enough to think that you don’t have to at least act like you’re climbing the stupid ladder 😬
