I have a great life which would be even better if I had someone special to share it with. I can put loads of information about myself here but the only way you'll really get to know me is by corresponding with me or better still, meeting me. Here's a few basics though. By day I'm a manager in a high profile, interesting and busy area of the health service. Outside work I'm passionate about many things - music, movies,books, current affairs...but my biggest passion in life has always been music, mainly guitar based rock. Some of my favourite bands would be Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, and Metallica. I'm rarely happier than when I'm singing along at live gigs: I love the feeling of unity and friendship you get when a crowd of people unite to sing a brilliant song at a gig. As well as other people's music I play my own: I'm a guitarist, singer and songwriter in my spare time. I also love movies - preferably well acted, and well written. A really good movie can have the power to make you feel happy, curious, romantic, scared (good horror movies!), or see the world differently sometimes. I love creative people in general...it makes for interesting conversations. I keep fit by swimming, working out at the gym and I also have an interest in self defence training. I play chess (badly) and I have a lot of affection for the French language, history and culture. I've been to Paris many times and want to tour the rest of France as well as other countries I have yet to see. I have a good sense of humour which you'll discover when you get to know me.
